Dennis Henigan
Dennis Henigan is director of the Center to Prevent Handgun Violence’s Legal Action Project, which helps represent victims of gun violence in suing gun manufacturers. He argues in the following viewpoint that gun manufacturers have failed to take reasonable steps to make their products safer and to keep them out of the hands of criminals. For example, he notes, gun makers have failed to implement trigger locks on their guns that would prevent children from firing them.
