Concerned Women for America

In the viewpoint that follows, the Concerned Women for America (CWA), a public policy women’s organization that promotes conservative values, criticizes the feminist effort to institute an equal rights amendment (ERA). Although the ERA became null in 1982 because the required number of states had not ratified it, notes the author, feminists continue to promote the ERA against the will of the people.
