A new school of creationism has arisen from the ashes of the old. Its proponents offer the same arguments as before with one major difference, namely, reliance upon science to support the biblical argument of a six-day creation and a six thousand-year-old earth. Despite the new creationists' claims to the contrary, their work has failed to disprove Darwinian evolution. Like their predecessors, they ignore empirical evidence that does not support their claims.
