James Q. Wilson

James Q. Wilson has taught political science at the University of Chicago, Harvard University, and the University of California, Los Angeles. He has written numerous books on police and criminal behavior, politics, and urban issues. In the following viewpoint, Wilson defends the idea that all humans have a “moral sense,” an innate awareness of right and wrong.
