C.S. Lewis
C.S. Lewis (1898–1963) was a literary scholar, who taught at Oxford and Cambridge universities in England. As a young man, Lewis rejected all religion. Later he become convinced of the reality of Christianity. He spent much of his life explaining the truth of Christianity in novels, children’s literature, radio programs, and books. In this viewpoint, Lewis discusses how Christianity makes the process of decision making both easier and harder. Lewis writes that a Christian should not focus on obeying this or that rule; rather the person should give himself or herself totally to God. As you read, consider the following questions:
