About the authors: Larry Don McQuay is a convicted child molester who was paroled from prison in April 1996. In June 1997 he was convicted on another count of child molestation and sentenced to twenty years in prison. Fred S. Berlin is an associate professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and director of the National Institute for the Study, Prevention and Treatment of Sexual Trauma.
