Coalition to End Primate Experimentation
The Coalition to End Primate Experimentation was founded to protest the treatment of monkeys and apes in eight federally funded Regional Primate Research Centers. The coalition maintains in the following viewpoint that nonhuman primates should not be used in experiments because they are morally equal to humans. To illustrate the unscientific nature of testing on nonhuman primates, the coalition catalogs some of what it claims are cruel and unnecessary research projects being conducted at the Primate Centers.
