While reports of alien abductions are prevalent in the United States, they occur throughout the world. A considerable number of alien abductions have been reported in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Spain. The Hispanic abductees report experiences that are similar to those in Englishspeaking countries, but their accounts are met with greater skepticism. This lack of willingness to accept the veracity of alien abductions has kept many abductees from telling their stories and therapists from helping abductees.
