American physician noted for his pioneering research in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. In 1983 Buster and Maria Bustillo were the first to successfully conduct a human embryo transfer. Buster has been involved in many aspects of obstetrics and gynecologic research, ranging from menopause to advanced methods of treating infertile women.
