Science What is a buoyant force? Asked by Dr. John Carmen 13 years ago 1/3/2013 2:20 AM Last updated by anonymous 13 years ago 1/5/2013 12:06 AM
A buoyant force is what allows something to float in a liquid or fluid. If the weight of the object is equal to the buoyant force, then it will float. Any variation thereof, and the object will not float.
