Use the law of conservation of energy to explain why when waste energy is produced in an energy conversion, the amount of usable energy decreases.

IN an energy conversion the intial amoutn of energy equals the final amount of energy. The final amount of energy equals the usable plaus waste energy. So, if some waste energy is produced, the amout of usable energy is less than the initial amount of energy.
