Science During most of the cell cycle (i.e. when cells are not preparing to replicate), what form does DNA take in the nucleus? How does this change during mitosis? Asked by aubra 12 years ago 12/13/2012 6:38 AM Last updated by anonymous 12 years ago 12/14/2012 4:04 PM
The dna in the nucleus exists as a chromosome until time for replication, where it will then uncoil and begin the replication process.
