Cyclone: a storm that rotates around the center of a low atmospheric pressure. The types of bad weather that follow are: rain, clouds, and other forms of bad weather. Winds in a cyclone blow counterclockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere.
Anticyclone: a system of winds that rotate around a center of high pressure. In their wake is generally good weather. Winds in an anticyclone blow just the opposite way as a cyclone.
