Thermal expansion is it meaningful to say that an object at a temperature of 200c is twice as hot as one at 100c? physics Asked by jean taylor on 10 Jan 07:12 Last updated by anonymous on 19 Jan 14:50
No. That would only be meaningful if 0°C was the lowest teperature possible, which it is not. 200°C is simply 100°C or 100K hotter than 100°C.
