Ecosystem productivity is the ability of an ecosystem to produce, sustain, or yield products (trees or other organisms). Obviously, the interrelations between systems is evident, especially in the case of animals and other animals (prey and predator) or in the case of herbivorous animals the plant-animal dependency.
