Coconut oil is made of a series of fatty acids which is formed of approximately 92.1% saturated fatty acids,6.2% monounsaturated fatty acids,1.6% polyunsaturated fatty acids,these acids are:

Caproic acid "saturated"

Caprylic acid "saturated"

Capric acid "saturated"

Lauric acid "saturated"

Myristic acid "saturated"

Palmitic acid "saturated"

Stearic acid "saturated"

Arachidic acid "saturated"

Oleic acid "monounsaturated"

Linoleic acid "polyunsaturated".
