At 16 years achild is still the responsibility of her parents .She has to be 18 years t0 21 before independent of your parental support.You are responsible for her actions now and even later because she must have learnt quite a few things from you by now.The family is the training camp for children in addition to schools and society before they can become fully independent. Emancipation comes when parents really take time to let the kids understand the reality of life versus the freedom of choice.Freedom without responsibility is a disaster.
