Elections are simply a channel or process of putting capable hands intopublic offices to serve the population in democracies of the world.Bitterness and acrimonies that normally go with a fight are not supposed to be carried over to the service of the people by the politicians whether on the winning side[majority] or on the losing side[minority].Unfortunately in our worldof today some politicans lack the discipline to seperate the two issues and sometimes carry over the hurtful feelings into service of the people.So the answer to your question is that we should close ranks and work together for the overall common goodof our people after the elctioneering period is over regardless of winneror loser status.If you lost an election and feel better skilled than the person who won which happen most of the times,you could still accept an offer or opportunity to serve the people despite this loss.
