y^2 - 19y + 48 = 0

(y )(y ) ( -16)( -3)=0

(y-16) (y-3) = 0

Solve:

(y-16) =0

y-16+16 =0+16

y=16

Solve:

(y-3) = 0

y-3+3 = 0+3

y=3
