x^2 - 6x + 8 = 0

(x )(x ) ( -4)( -2)=0

(x-4) (x-2) = 0

Solve:

(x-4)=0

x-4+4=0+4

x=4

Solve:

(x-2) = 0

x-2+2 = 0+2

x=2
