x^2 - 5x - 66 = 0

(x )(x ) ( -11)( +6)=0

(x-11) (x+6) = 0

Solve:

(x-11)=0

x-11+11=0+11

x=11

Solve:

(x+6) = 0

x+6-6 = 0-6

x=-6
