x^2 +4x+3=0

(x )(x ) ( +1)( +3)=0

(x+1) (x+3) = 0

Solve:

(x+1)=0

x+1-1=0-1

x=-1

Solve:

(x+3) = 0

x+3-3 = 0-3

x=-3
