x^2 - 20x + 96 = 0

(x )(x ) ( -12)( -8)=0

(x-12) (x-8) = 0

Solve:

(x-12) =0

x-12+12 =0+12

x=12

Solve:

(x-8) = 0

x-8+8 = 0+8

x=8
