x^2 + 10x - 11 = 0

(x )(x ) ( -1)( +11)=0

(x-1) (x+11) = 0

Solve:

(x-1)=0

x-1+1=0+1

x=1

Solve:

(x+11) = 0

x+11-11= 0-11

x=-11
