- 2x + 4y-4y = - 12-4y

-2x= - 12-4y

-2x/-2= - 12-4y/-2

x=6+4y

4x + 5y = 50

4(6+4y) + 5y = 50

4(6) (4)(+4y) + 5y = 50

24+16y+5y=50

24+21y=50

24+21y-24=50-24

21y=26

21y/21=26/21

y=1.24

x=6+4y

x=6+4(1.24)

x=6+5=11
