Fridays choir practice starts at 2:45 and is 8 blocks from Waynes house. If Wayne can walk each block in 5 minutes, whats the latest he can leave in order to get there on time?

1 block = 8 blocks

5 min x min

x minblock=5(8) min block

1x minblock/1block=40min block/1

x=40 min to walk

Must start walking 2:45 - :40=2:05
