x^2 + 0x - 81 = 0

(x )(x ) ( -9)( +9)=0

(x-9) (x+9) = 0

Solve:

(x-9) =0

x-9+9 =0+9

x=9

Solve:

(x+9) = 0

x+9-9 = 0-9

x=-9
