1x^2 + 8x + 12 = 0

(x )(x ) ( +2)( +6)=0

(x+2) (x+6) = 0

Solve:

(x+2) =0

x+2-2 =0-2

x=-2

Solve:

(x+6) = 0

x+6-6 = 0-6

x=-6
