x^2 + 3x - 18 = 0

(x )(x ) ( -3)( +6)=0

(x-3) (x+6) = 0

Solve:

(x-3) =0

x-3+3 =0+3

x=3

Solve:

(x+6) = 0

x+6-6 = 0-6

x=-6
