x^2 - 24x + 144 = 0

(x )(x ) ( -12)( -12)=0

(x-12)(x-12)=0

(x-12^2

(x-12)^2 = 0

Check:

(x-12)(x-12)=0

(x)(x) (x)(-12) (-12)(x) (-12)(-12)=0

x^2 -12x -12x +144=0

x^2 - 24x + 144 = 0
