4x^3 - 28x^2 + 40x = 0

4x(x^2 -7x +10)=0

4x(x )(x ) ( -5)( -2)=0

4x(x-5)(x-2)=0

Check:

4x(x-5)(x-2)=0

4x ( x)(x) (x)(-2) (-5)(x) (-5)(-2)=0

4x ( x^2 -2x -5x +10)=0

4x(x^2-7x+10)=0

4x^3-28^2+40)=0

Simplify:

4x=0

Solve:

4x=0

4x/4=0/4

x=0

Simplify:

(x-5)=0

Solve:

(x-5)=0

x-5+5=0+5

x=5

Simplify

(x-2)=0

Solve:

(x-2)=0

x-2+2=0+2

x=2
