1x^2 - 2x - 15 = 0

(x )(x ) ( -5)( +3)=0

(x-5) (x+3) = 0

Solve:

(x-5)=0

x-5+5=0+5

x=5

Solve:

(x+3) = 0

x+3-3 = 0-3

x=-3
