-1x^2 + 8x - 15 = 0

-1(x^2-8x+15)

-1(x )(x ) ( -5)( -3)

-1(x-5)(x-3)=0

Solve:

-1(x-5)=0

(-1)(x) (-1)(-5)=0

-1x+5=0

-1x+5-5=0-5

-1x=-5

-1x/-1=-1/-1

x=5

Solve:

-1(x-3)=0

(-1)(x) (-1)(-3)=0

-1x+3=0

-1x+3-3=0-3

-1x=-3

-1x/-1=-3/-3

x=3
