The Great Awakening led to arguments between congregation in terms of religious practices. Some groups welcomed women, African Americans, and Native Americans. The Great Awakening also inspired the founding of colleges (Princeton and Brown) and inspired colonists to help one another..... this included raising fund for orphanages.
