What would you say the psychological disorders in this book between the father, and the son would be? In my opinion I came up with schizophrenia for the father but nothing for the son.

This is for a psychology project and I am in need of a second opinion as our teacher wont help up come up with disorders, we are left to do research. Thank you for your time
