Who is Wights, Hollowgasts from Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and what is their importance?

A wight is a monster that has physically evolved into human form. They are indistinguishable from humans, except for the fact they have pupil-less eyes. Hollowgasts are barely human, known for their smelly saggy skin and three long, snakelike tongues.
