Who is The Tailor from Spinners and what is their importance?

The tailor is Saskia's father. After suffering an accident that leaves him deformed, he withdraws from society and works in a cabin in the woods. When he learns about Saskia's talents, he goes to the castle to help her..... asking for her first-born child in return for his assistance. The tailor believes that her child, his grandchild, will be the only person who can love him for himself. Saskia, however, successfully thwarts his plan with Elke's assistance.
