In The Lost Queen, The King of Lyonesse attempted a coup and almost killed King Oberon. He and his gray knights (ghostly minions) were imprisoned in amber prisons beneath the castle and have been there for centuries. They are released when Rathinia finds the sword that Tania dropped and frees them.
