Tate is the first Human that Lilith awakens when she starts gathering people to go to Earth. Tate is a good friend to Lilith for a time but the other Humans soon turn against Lilith and Tate goes with the man she has paired up with, Gabriel Rinaldi. Tate later is seen in the village of Phoenix where Akin is taken by his abductors. Akin tells Tate who his mother is and Tate instructs Akin not to tell anyone that information. Tate appears to have regrets about things that have been done. Although she does not release Akin, she treats him well and she reminds him a great deal of his mother although they look nothing alike.
