Stephanie Morgan, a member of the Junior League, assists Karen in putting together the flower show after the kidnapping takes place. She arrives at Karen's home minutes after Karen learns about the kidnapping, but Karen manages to bluff her way out of the situation and send Stephanie home. Unfortunately, Stephanie arrives at her home once again, just as Karen and Hickey are leaving to approve the transfer of the ransom money. Karen once again tries to talk Stephanie into leaving, but Stephanie just doesn't take the hint. As a result, Hickey shoots her.
