Stephanie Bekker is Michael Bekker's wife. Stephanie Bekker is in the kitchen washing dishes after spending the evening in bed with her lover. Stephanie is thinking about her lover, about the time they have just spent together, when Druze breaks into the house. Stephanie is beaten over the head repeatedly. Stephanie's lover comes downstairs and finds the killer over her body, but does nothing. Druze runs out of the house. Stephanie is unconscious on the floor for a few minutes and then she attempts to call for help, but dies as she reaches for the phone. If Stephanie's lover had called for help immediately, she may have lived.
