Safi Mirza, Fazal Sharif, and Farooq Khan are three Pakistanis who attempt to create a program to locate satellites. These three stumble across nine satellites that are not supposed to be where they are found. The three men nickname these satellites Neptune. Fascinated with these satellites and their highly advanced capabilities, the three men create a program that allows them to hijack and take control of the satellites. When the three men realize that what they have is very valuable, they travel to Washington DC and employ Joel Backman to help them sell the computer program to the highest bidder. However, word of what they have gets out. Two of the Pakistanis disappear before Backman is sent to prison and a third disappears six years later when Backman is pardoned.
