Ralph Hiltch is an officer in the Kulu empire, and the officer in charge of the small Kulu embassy on Lalonde. After the fall of Lalonde, Hitch captures of one of the possessed and is promoted to Commander. He then acts as a consultant on possessed abilities for Princess Kirsten, as well as the security forces on Ombrey.
