Who is Pryderi from The Mabinogion and what is their importance?

Pryderi is Pwyll and Rhiannon's son. He was stolen from his mother in infancy and raised in ignorance of his true heritage but is later restored to his position and becomes the ruler of Dyfed. Pryderi is killed by a herd of pigs gifted to him by Arawn, king of Annun.
