Philip George is a law professor at the same university where Bekker works. Bekker finds calls from his wife to George on the phone bill and believes that George is her lover. Bekker orders Druze to kill George and hide his body on property behind a cabin in Wisconsin. Druze does as he is told, but forgets to take the eyes. Bekker insists on returning to the gravesite the following night to take the eyes so that George will not haunt him. However, on this return trip, the neighbors see Druze and Bekker's car leave the area. The body is found sooner than expected, turning up the heat on Bekker and Druze.
