Petyr van Abel was a member of the Talamasca during the 1600s. Petyr rescued Deborah from Scotland, and he later witnessed her death. When he travels to Saint-Domingue to give Charlotte a message from her mother, he realizes that he is, in fact, Charlotte's father. Charlotte, however, imprisons Petyr and forces him to father a child with his strength, so he becomes both father and grandfather of the next generation of Mayfair witches.
