Who is Patrick Henry from The World's Great Speeches and what is their importance?

Patrick Henry was a great American orator known for his role in the American Revolution, it is Henry who coins the phrase, "Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Death" during a speech to the Virginia Convention of Delegates in 1775. He had little education but was eventually elected governor of Virginia.
