Sister Lucrezia requested that the nuns at Santa Vitella's Convent not undress her body upon her death as was custom. As a result of a plague outbreak in a nearby village, however, it is necessary for them to burn her clothing and cleanse her body. When they do this, they discover that Sister Lucrezia die of the tumor they believed she had. They also discovered that she had a large tattoo of a snake on her body.
