Nathan Bailford is Maggie's attorney. She meets him through Patrick, and all through her trial, Nathan tries to find a reasonable doubt to protect her from prison. Sadly, Maggie is convicted. Soon after the conclusion of the trial, it is discovered that Nathan Bailford actually had inside information on Maggie's case that he didn't reveal to the court. Nathan Bailford was, in fact, a part of a private after hours group at the Lake Club. As a result, Nathan is arrested and Maggie is released pending a new trial.
