Nathan Bailford is Maggie's attorney. Maggie meets Nathan through Patrick. All through Maggie's trial, Nathan tries to find a reasonable doubt to protect her from prison. However, the trial goes badly and Maggie is convicted. In the immediate aftermath, it is discovered that Nathan Bailford had inside information in Maggie's case that he did not reveal to the court as well as a conflict of interest. It turns out Nathan Bailford was a part of a private after hours group at the Lake Club that frequently included Will Shepard. Nathan is arrested and Maggie is granted a new trial.
